Cataclysm Classic-  Rise of the Zandalari Release Date

Originally known as the patch 4.1 officially comes to Cataclysm Classic on the 30th of July, 2024! There are many things that you can expect and enjoy in the coming patch, so lets see exactly what’s coming!

Just when you thought you could avoid the danger of “da voodoo,” a new challenge has appeared. Blizzard is not keeping any of their aces in their sleeves so we are called to enter Zul’Gurub and Zul’Aman, stop the Zandalari trolls, and earn great rewards for your bravery!

The Zandalari Threat

In the past, the wise Zandalar tribe helped the Horde and the Alliance fight against evil trolls in Zul’Gurub and Zul’Drak. But the recent Cataclysm has changed their views. Led by a mysterious prophet named Zul, the Zandalari now want to unite all trolls into a powerful empire to save their race from extinction.

So far, the Gurubashi and Amani trolls have joined the Zandalari and rebuilt their capitals in Zul’Gurub and Zul’Aman. However, not all trolls agree with Zul’s plans. Vol’jin and his Darkspear tribe oppose Zul’s warmongering ways. Vol’jin has asked the Horde and the Alliance for help to stop the Gurubashi and Amani trolls from causing more chaos in Azeroth. If they fail, a new troll empire will rise and bring even more conflict to the world.

A Secret Battle

Vol’jin has secretly sent Darkspear messengers to Stormwind and Orgrimmar, asking for help to investigate new threats in the jungles of Stranglethorn.

Level-85 Solo Quests:

Players can take on new solo quests in Stranglethorn to uncover what lies ahead. The Gurubashi tribe is causing trouble again. During your journey, you’ll help a bold Darkspear spirit-talker named Bwemba, track down the famous hunter Hemet Nesingwary, and encounter new Zul’Gurub bosses in the jungles.

Rewards:

Completing these quests will earn you a cute panther pet. Start your adventure by talking to Vol’jin’s representatives in Orgrimmar or Stormwind Harbor.

Return to Zul’Gurub

The ancient city of Zul’Gurub has become a stronghold for the Gurubashi, who are now more powerful thanks to the Zandalari. This level-85, 5-player Heroic dungeon has new challenges for players. While you might see some familiar faces, the bosses and mechanics are updated.

Which Bosses are there going to be in Zul’Gurub with the Rise of the Zandalari Patch in Cataclysm Classic?

  • High Priest Venoxis
  • Broodlord Mandokir
  • High Priestess Kilnara
  • Zanzil
  • Jin’do the Godbreaker

Defeating these bosses will reward you with a treasure map. Use it to find valuable loot, including an account-bound ring with a visible gem!

Additional Boss:

Players with high Archaeology skill can unlock an extra boss in Zul’Gurub. One of the four bosses (Gri’lek, Renataki, Hazza’rah, or Wushoolay) will challenge you for digging too deep. Defeating them offers unique rewards.

The Amani Regrouped

The Amani trolls, with help from the Zandalari, have regrouped under new leadership. Zul’Aman is now a level-85, 5-player Heroic dungeon. Those who fought Zul’jin during The Burning Crusade will find familiar areas, but the mechanics are updated for a 5-player group.
