About the TBC Starter Package
Reaching genuine raid readiness in TBC Classic involves far more than simply hitting Level 70. Flight paths need to be discovered zone by zone, riding and flying skills need to be trained and paid for, professions need to be leveled from scratch alongside the character itself, and multiple attunement questlines need to be completed before a character can even step into Karazhan, let alone the Heroic dungeons that feed into later raid tiers. Each of these systems represents its own time investment, and they compound rather than overlap, meaning a fully prepared character realistically takes weeks of dedicated play to assemble from a Level 58 starting point.
The three package tiers reflect different stopping points along that preparation curve. Bronze covers the essential foundation: leveling, one profession, base mount access, and Karazhan attunement, enough to begin raiding the first tier of content. Silver extends this with a second profession, full Heroic dungeon attunements, and the Head enchant unlock, positioning a character for the deeper Heroic dungeon grind. Gold represents the complete package, with Pre-raid BiS gear specifically, maximum flying speed, three secondary professions, and the Shoulder enchant, essentially eliminating every preparation step between a Level 58 character and full raid participation.
