WotLK Classic Ruby Sanctum Release Date
The Ruby Sanctum is the final Raid of the WotLK Expansion. It was imagined as a filler Raid before the Cataclysm release. However this time around, we can expect it to Release somewhere in mid-January of 2024. This means that the Icecrown Citadel and the Lich King himself on Heroic will still be opponents that we’ll be fighting and the Ruby Sanctum will provide us with an additional source for acquiring the gear that we need.
It will have multiple amazing best in slot items that will have some more use this time around compared the the original release of the Raid. If you need help with the Ruby Sanctum Raid, feel free to check out our site!
Season of Discovery Phase 2 Release Date
Season of Discovery is simply one of those things that we just need to test and try out. With the amazing mix of old & new bundled up in the well known land of Azeroth, but with a multitude of additions to the world as well as classes, simply changes the view that we take when playing the game.
We are currently in the Phase 1 of Season of Discovery and the hype is real, the time flows by while you’re having fun, so we can expect the Phase 2 of WoW Classic: Season of Discovery to be just around the corner and come in the Winter, we expect it to be somewhere around February 2024! Things we can expect with Phase 2 are:
- Level Cap Increase: From Level 25 to 40.
- New Runes
- New PvP Event
- New Raid: Gnomeregan
After the release of Phase 2, we have a small addition that was promised on Blizzcon and that is..
WoW Classic Hardcore SSF Mode Release Date
With Hardcore being a huge impact on the community and for the first time bringing the “1 life” theory into the WoW universe, it brought about many changes as well as impacted Blizzard on broadening their horizons. That’s why in order to make the game even more fun for the Players, a Solo-Self-Found Mode is being implemented.
The SSF servers are set to go live somewhere at the end of Winter / start of Spring, we expect it to be somewhere around March 2024!
Season of Discovery Phase 3 Release Date
With SSF mode being out on Hardcore, it won’t be long before the Season of Discovery enjoyers get another huge update after having some time to experience the Hardcore SSF mode. The WoW Classic SoD Phase 3 is expected to come out somewhere in Spring, we believe that this Phase will come out somewhere around April or early May to give Players time to enjoy the Phase and also have some time to play before Cataclysm Classic comes out.
Cataclysm Classic Pre-Patch Release Date
Cataclysm Classic is the next step in the WoW Classic evolution chain and it is closer than you might think. There was a lot of speculation on which Expansion the WoW Classic ‘thing’ is going to end, but WotLK won’t be the one. The coming of WoW Cataclysm Classic Pre-Patch at the end of Spring will mark the end of the WotLK Classic Era and we will be moving on the regular trajectory towards the future past.
We expect the Cataclysm Classic Pre-Patch to land somewhere around April or May in 2024. With the Pre-Patch we will see:
- The Pre-Patch Event
- Worgen & Goblin Races
- Improved Guild Features
- Account-Wide Collections
- The Transmog implementation
soon thereafter…
WoW Cataclysm Classic Release Date
Despite millions enjoying the current World of Warcraft version, a substantial number of nostalgic Warcraft veterans desired the classic game, yearning to relive the captivating content and gameplay. Blizzard seized this opportunity, launching WoW Classic in 2019 to cater to the older player base. Since then, Classic servers have evolved with Blizzard consistently re-releasing expansion packs. After WOTLK Classic’s organic conclusion, gamers eagerly awaited the next chapter in WoW Classic, and their inquiries have now been addressed.
The WoW Cataclysm Classic is the next chapter of the WoW Classic franchise and it is set to launch in the first part of the Year 2024. Judging by the Roadmap it is set to release in early Summer, which we predict will be somewhere in Late May or early June. With the release of Cataclysm Classic we can expect:
- The progression of the Campaign Story
- 4 Raids right off the bat
- 7 Dungeons
- 2 Heroic Dungeons
- PvP Battleground
- Darkmoon Island

Season of Discovery Phase 4 Release Date
Soon after Cataclysm Classic comes out and after Players got a bit of time to work through their Character progression, check out the Raids and Dungeons as well as enjoy a bit of Transmog competitions. We will move towards the 4th Phase of SoD. The Season of Discovery Phase 4 is set to release at the middle of Summer, we expect it to come somewhere around July of 2024.
With the new Phase coming out, we can expect some updates as well:
- Raised Level Cap: Level 60
- New Runes
- End Game Activities
After this we will have the release of two major patches for Cataclysm Classic.
WoW Cataclysm Classic – Rise of the Zandalari Release Date
The Rise of the Zandalari, an event unfolding in Northern Stranglethorn and the Cape of Stranglethorn. We expect this Phase to come out in late summer / early autumn which would put it somewhere around Late August/early September of 2024.
Here, players discover the Zandalar tribe’s initiative to reunite all troll tribes. Facing the loss of troll territories, the Zandalari aim to consolidate their forces and reclaim what they believe is rightfully theirs. The rebuilding of Zul’Aman and Zul’Gurub hints at a potentially intense expansion. However, Vol’jin and the Darkspear tribe opt out, fearing the consequences of a war that could worsen the world’s condition post-Cataclysm.
This Event is one of the more memorable Quest-chains and is definitely something that will be worth re-living or experiencing for the first time, depending on you being a veteran or a Player that is playing Cataclysm for the first time!
WoW Cataclysm Classic – Rage of the Firelands Release Date
You thought that Ragnaros was defeated? Well shame on you! These things never end easy in WoW, especially not if we look at WoW Classic which is bringing these old Bosses back into life. Firelands was one of the better and more interesting Raids in Cataclysm and getting to enjoy this Raid as well as everything that comes with it is truly a great experience.
Rage of the Firelands marks the introduction of the Firelands Raid and marked the end of the Season before, it might be the same this time around, but we are yet to get more information. We believe that the release of this specific Patch will come somewhere in the middle of autumn, more specifically late October or early November of 2024.
This update includes a new daily quest hub in Hyjal and introduces two additional daily quest zones known as The Regrowth and the Molten Front. The expansion continues Thrall’s storyline and introduces the Dungeon Journal feature for enhanced gameplay information.
The last thing we were made aware from the Roadmap was the Season of Discovery End Game Content Updates.
WoW Season of Discovery End Game Content Updates
With us being Level 60 in Season of Discovery, getting the last of our Runes and finishing End Game activities, the Question is what comes next for this part of the WoW Classic universe. Our expectation is that this content update will be the last coming to SoD and it will come out in late November of 2024.
We expect this last content update to be mostly about releasing the remaining Raids:
- Molten Core
- Zul’Gurub
and whether or not we’ll be seeing something else is completely up to Blizzard and the community. We expect that the activity on SoD Servers will be the deciding factor on whether or not we’ll be seeing AQ20/AQ40 or even some other yet unseen Raids such as the speculated Mount Hyjal Raid.
CONCLUSION
To conclude, we surely do not envy anyone that wants to keep up with the pace of WoW WotLK, Cataclysm or SoD Classic servers, and we shutter at the thought of having to keep up with all that’s coming to WoW Retail and trying to manage all of these games that you’d want to play.
Blizzard is showing and giving us all that we want, but it seems to be going much too fast for everything to be followed up on properly and in order to keep all our Characters up to date it will definitely be a trying task.
