World of Warcraft: The War Within – Global Launch and Early Access Details

The highly anticipated next expansion for World of Warcraft, The War Within, is set to launch simultaneously across the globe, bringing players from the Americas, Europe, Taiwan, Korea, and Australia/New Zealand together as one unified front. As the gates to Khaz Algar open, players from all factions and regions can dive into this new chapter at the same time.

Here are the key dates and times for the launch:

  • Early Access: Players who pre-purchase the Epic Edition of The War Within will gain early access to the expansion starting on August 22 at 3:00 p.m. PDT.
  • Global Launch: The expansion will officially go live worldwide on August 26 at 3:00 p.m. PDT.

In addition to early access, those who pre-purchase the Epic Edition will also receive exclusive bonus content, including the Gryphon Rider Sets and Squally’s Siblings.

Take Your Character to the Next Level with Hero Talents

The War Within introduces an exciting new feature called Hero Talents, offering a fresh layer of character progression for each class specialization. Starting at level 71, players can unlock these new, self-contained talent trees that expand upon existing abilities and class fantasies. With three Hero Talent trees per class (except for druids, who have four, and demon hunters, who have two), players can tailor their character’s powers in new ways. Each specialization has two Hero Talent trees available, allowing for diverse and strategic choices that can be adjusted just like existing class talents.

Ride Into Battle in Deephaul Ravine

Get ready for a new PvP experience in Deephaul Ravine, located within the Ringing Deeps. This 10v10 payload-style battleground (or 8v8 in Battleground Blitz) challenges teams to secure resources in a strategic mine. The goal is to be the first team to reach 1500 points, as Ruffious the Unbound Earthen and Foreman Uzjax face off for control of the valuable ore and gems. This thrilling battleground offers players from levels 71 to 80 an intense, resource-focused PvP encounter.

MoP Remix Coming to a Close

As The War Within launches, the MoP Remix event is drawing to a close, making way for the new adventures and challenges that await in this expansion. Get ready to embark on a journey through Azeroth’s darkest depths and rise to new heights with the upcoming content in The War Within.
