Beginning December 2 and running through February 3, the Turbulent Timeways event returns—a 10-week Timewalking celebration featuring rotating expansions, new Shadowlands dungeons, a powerful leveling buff, Heroic-quality rewards, a new vendor, and a mount-earning achievement.

This event offers one of the best opportunities of the year to level alts, farm Timewarped Badges, collect transmog, and unlock rare mounts. What Is Turbulent Timeways?

Turbulent Timeways is a 10-week consecutive Timewalking event, where each week features a different WoW expansion. Unlike standard Timewalking cycles, this special version begins and ends with Shadowlands Timewalking, introducing six new dungeons to the lineup.

Throughout the event, players can:

• Queue for level-scaled Timewalking dungeons

• Earn Timewarped Badges

Shadowlands Timewalking & New Dungeons

For the first and last week of the event, players gain access to six Shadowlands Timewalking dungeons for the first time:

You can queue through the Dungeon Finder → Timewalking tab. These dungeons scale your gear and level, while still offering meaningful rewards for capped characters.

New Shadowlands Vendor – Collector Ta’steld

Collector Ta’steld can be found in Oribos at the Ring of Fates, right outside the Hall of Curiosities.

Timeways XP Buff – Knowledge & Mastery

Running any Timewalking dungeon grants a stacking XP buff:

Knowledge of the Timeways

• +5% XP per stack

• Gained by completing Timewalking dungeons

• Stacks up to 4 times

Mastery of the Timeways

After four stacks, the buff transforms into:

• +30% XP gain

• Account-wide

• Persists through death

This makes Turbulent Timeways one of the strongest leveling windows in the entire year.

Master of the Turbulent Timeways IV – Earn a Free Mount

Completing the achievement “Master of the Turbulent Timeways IV” requires maintaining Mastery of the Timeways for any five weeks during the event.

The reward is:

• Ta’readon’s Mount Voucher → choose one Bronze Covenant Mount for free

• The remaining three Covenant mounts can then be purchased for Timewarped Badges

• Bronze Wilderling

• Bronze Corpsefly

• Bronze Gravewing

• Bronze Aquilon

All Covenant riding restrictions are removed, so any character can use any mount.

Reputation Bonuses During Timewalking

While an expansion’s Timewalking week is active, players earn:

• +50% bonus reputation for all factions tied to that expansion

• Reputation from quests and creature kills

• Scaled dungeon loot equivalent to Heroic rewards

This is a prime chance to clear older faction grinds rapidly.

How to Join Timewalking Dungeons

Open:

Group Finder → Dungeon Finder → Timewalking

Select the appropriate expansion shown for the week. The tool automatically scales your character and places you in a relevant dungeon.
