Bands of Ichorous Rose are a Rogue-exclusive Unique Gloves in Diablo 4 built entirely around Poison Trap and a set of mechanic-altering interactions that transform how the skill functions. The gloves cause Poison Trap to always deal its full damage over just 3 seconds instead of the normal longer duration, and increase all of its upgrades by 50–100%. On top of that, Poison Trap gains three additional properties: it benefits from Combo Points, has no cooldown while Inner Sight is active, and its cooldown is reduced by Preparation. Bands of Ichorous Rose fundamentally change what Poison Trap is capable of as a skill. Standard Poison Trap deals its damage slowly over an extended period, which limits how much total damage you can output in fast-paced fights where enemies die or move before taking the full tick sequence. The gloves solve this by compressing the full damage into a 3-second window — so the same total poison damage that would normally take much longer to apply now lands in a short burst. For boss fights and Elite encounters where every second of damage matters, this compression alone makes the gloves a significant upgrade.
The 50–100% increase to all Poison Trap upgrades amplifies every node you have invested in the skill tree for Poison Trap, making the gloves more valuable the more heavily your build has invested in trap upgrades. The Combo Points interaction opens the skill to Combo Point-scaling builds that would otherwise not include Poison Trap in their rotation, expanding the build diversity around the gloves considerably.
The Inner Sight interaction is the highest-ceiling mechanic on the item. Inner Sight removes Poison Trap’s cooldown entirely while active, allowing continuous trap placement throughout the buff window. In a build designed to maintain Inner Sight uptime through Crowd Control triggers, this creates a period of unrestricted Poison Trap spam that deals compressed 3-second burst damage on each cast — a very high damage output window for a skill that normally has significant cooldown restrictions.
The Preparation cooldown reduction adds a secondary way to accelerate trap access outside of Inner Sight, making the gloves versatile across different Rogue specialisations that use Preparation as a cooldown management tool.
