What Is the Lac Rune and Why Buy It
The Lac Rune is a Rare Rune of Invocation in Diablo 4, meaning it consumes Offering generated by a paired Rune of Ritual to trigger its effect — evoking the Barbarian’s Challenging Shout to reduce damage taken. Pair it with any Ritual Rune in a two-socket item — available on Chest pieces, Legs, Two-Handed weapons, and Helms — and it will fire whenever that Ritual Rune’s condition is met.
Lac is a reliable damage reduction pick for any build that needs consistent survivability without dedicating skill slots to defensive abilities. The Challenging Shout effect applies to your character regardless of class, making it effective across every build type. It is also a required crafting ingredient for Harlequin Crest. If you need Lac Runes fast without the farming, InstantCarry delivers them directly to your character.
WHAT CAN YOU CRAFT WITH THE LAC RUNE
The Lac Rune is a required ingredient for crafting the Mythic Unique item Harlequin Crest. The recipe requires 1 Resplendent Spark, 10 Eom, 10 Lac, 10 Ton, and 5,000 Gold

How To Craft Runewords
Crafting a Runeword requires combining one Rune of Ritual and one Rune of Invocation in an item with two sockets. Eligible item slots include Chest pieces, Legs, Two-Handed weapons, and Helms. The Ritual Rune generates Offering when its condition is met, and the Invocation Rune spends that Offering to activate its effect.
