Have you no news from Arreat?” The lore frames the amulet as an object of yearning power — the desire for something greater that comes at a personal cost. Mechanically this translates directly: the amulet’s power is real and substantial, but it demands more from you in return.
The 45–60% increased Core Skill damage applies to every Core Skill cast, making it one of the most broadly applicable damage multipliers available in the amulet slot in Season 13. Unlike Emblem of Staalbreak which benefits only during Berserking, or Dark Stalker’s Medallion which requires maintaining three weapon type stacks, Nomad’s Longing Heart delivers its full bonus on every single Core Skill cast regardless of build state — providing consistent, unconditional damage amplification throughout every fight.
The Injured enemy double damage is where the amulet achieves its highest impact. Boss and Elite encounters have defined execute windows — the moment a high-health target drops below 35% Life the fight enters a critical phase where finishing quickly matters most. Nomad’s Longing Heart makes every Core Skill hit during this phase deal up to 120% increased damage, compounding with Critical Strike Damage, Berserking amplification, and all other active multipliers simultaneously for a damage spike that directly accelerates kills during the most critical moments of any endgame encounter.
