Pact of Bone is a Necromancer-exclusive Unique Ring in Diablo 4 that delivers two simultaneous minion amplifiers in a single item slot. All your Minions permanently gain 30–35% increased Attack Speed and Critical Strike Chance. Ring of Mendeln worked through a Lucky Hit proc that empowered Minions periodically. Pact of Bone provides two permanent baseline buffs that scale with army size and composition rather than proc chance, making its value predictable and consistent across all content types rather than dependent on Lucky Hit thresholds.
The permanent 30–35% Attack Speed and Critical Strike Chance bonuses compound multiplicatively with the army size improvements available in Season 13. An army of 4 Skeleton Warriors with Pact of Bone attacks faster and crits more often than a base army. An army of 10–13 Skeleton Warriors with Deathgrip, The Undercrown, and Pact of Bone attacking at 30–35% increased speed with 30–35% increased crit chance generates a substantially larger total damage output — not because any individual Warrior is dramatically stronger, but because 10+ attacks landing per second with elevated crit rates compound into a continuous high-damage output that no smaller army can match regardless of individual unit scaling.
The death enrage mechanic adds a reactive dimension that rewards playing in dangerous content rather than avoiding it. Builds that play cautiously to preserve every Skeleton sacrifice the enrage proc entirely. Builds that push into higher Torment tiers where Minion deaths are inevitable receive the enrage automatically and consistently — meaning Pact of Bone’s full value is unlocked precisely in the content where it matters most.
