Skyhunter is a Unique Bow built exclusively for the Rogue and a core piece for any Precision-focused build. Its unique effect guarantees the first direct damage you deal to an enemy is a Critical Strike, and consuming stacks of Precision while casting a Skill grants that Skill increased Critical Strike Damage while also restoring Energy, keeping your resource flowing through extended fights. The bow also carries bonus Attack Speed, a large boost to Critical Strike Damage, a high chance for Marksman Projectiles to cast twice, and extra ranks to Stutter Step, combining guaranteed burst openers with sustained resource generation into one item. Because affixes are randomized, secondary stats will vary by roll, but the Unique Effect is always fixed. Skyhunter can be target-farmed from Lord Zir, The Dark Master, and Echo of Varshan, and can also drop from Infernal Hordes, Nightmare Dungeons, Helltide chests, and general World Events.

Skyhunter Mechanics Explained
Skyhunter works on two separate triggers that both reward precise, resource-aware play. The guaranteed Critical Strike on your first direct hit means every engagement opens with a confirmed crit rather than relying on your Critical Strike Chance roll, which is especially valuable against bosses and elites where that opening hit often matters most. Separately, whenever you consume Precision stacks by casting a Skill, that specific Skill gains a large Critical Strike Damage bonus and refunds Energy, meaning the bow rewards builds that actively manage and spend Precision stacks rather than letting them sit unused.
Because the Energy refund happens every time you consume Precision, Rogues can sustain more frequent Skill casts than their base Energy pool would normally allow, which pairs directly with the bow’s own Attack Speed and chance for Marksman Projectiles to cast twice, letting you fire more shots per second and reach Precision thresholds faster. The large flat Critical Strike Damage roll then multiplies both the guaranteed opening crit and any subsequent crits that follow. This combination of a guaranteed opening hit and sustained Precision-fueled casting is why Skyhunter is treated as a defining weapon for Precision-based Rogue builds pushing Nightmare Dungeons or high-difficulty boss content.
