About the Monster Hunter Wilds Arkveld Boost
Arkveld was thought to be extinct according to Guild documents, but it has been sighted in the Forbidden Lands. This Flying Wyvern is the flagship monster of Monster Hunter Wilds and plays a central role in the game’s story — it attacked Nata’s village and drove him to flee, setting the game’s events in motion.
Arkveld’s signature feature is its chain-like tendrils that extend from its wings. These tendrils are made of interlocked bony structures on tendons, and they can attack at any range — whipping at distance or retracting into wingblades for close combat. When Arkveld absorbs enough elemental energy from other monsters, its chains split into four and become empowered with Dragon element, dramatically increasing its attack power and range.
The monster actively hunts apex predators like Rey Dau and Uth Duna to siphon their elemental energy. It’s aggressive, nomadic, and appears across all five biomes — no other large monster in Wilds has this range.
What You Can Craft
Arkveld materials create Dragon-element weapons and the Arkveld armor set. The armor’s set bonus, Arkveld’s Hunger (Hasten Recovery), regenerates your health as you continuously attack monsters — perfect for aggressive playstyles that stay on the offensive.
The weapons follow a knight-themed naming convention and feature Arkveld’s distinctive white scales and chain motifs. Our boosters exploit the Focus Strike window after dual-chain slams, use Flash Pods during aerial sweeps, and focus on breaking the chainblades to reduce Arkveld’s threat level mid-fight. With our Arkveld Boost, you skip the flagship monster grind and go straight to crafting endgame gear.
