Expedition Overview
The Savage Divide Expedition is located in the southeastern corner of the Elysian Wilds. It’s one of the most recently introduced dungeons in New World, requiring a Level 65 character and a Gear Score of at least 600+ for smooth completion.
While relatively short in distance, Savage Divide is filled with puzzles, environmental traps, and dangerous beast-type enemies. Players must solve orb pedestal puzzles to progress through overlapping corridors that loop back on themselves, leading to mini-boss encounters before facing the two final bosses, Kurok and Mahantaram.

Major Bosses in Savage Divide
Kurok – The Elemental Gorilla
The first major boss, Kurok, is a massive gorilla empowered by elemental magic. Four pillars around the arena correspond to the elements Fire, Ice, Nature, and Lightning.
When Kurok interacts with a pillar, he gains that element’s power.
Players can activate the same pillar to counter its effect.
Each team member should be assigned to one pillar at the start of the fight.
Once empowered, Kurok releases elemental orbs that move across the arena — corresponding players must intercept them to neutralize the threat.
If Kurok survives after all four elements have been used, he enters a Void Phase, launching void orbs at random players. This serves as a DPS check, requiring strong coordination and sustained damage to finish the fight quickly.
Mahantaram – The Primal Mammoth
The final boss, Mahantaram, is a towering mammoth wielding elemental power. A glowing crystal above his head indicates the type of attack he’s preparing:
