Diablo 4 Season of Blood Release Date

FINALLY! We’ve gotten more information, updates and a first view into what the next Season will bring. We already knew that the Patch 1.2.0 will be released on the 17th of October, now we know that the Season of the Malignant will END at that time and the Season of Blood will go LIVE on October 17th at 10 A.M. PDT. (7 P.M. CET for Europe).

With the new Season we have many things to look forward to and to be quite honest it feels that Blizzard has listened to the community and the End-game content will be much better than in Season 1 or since the release of the game.

Diablo 4 Dry Steppes - Ked BarduDiablo 4 Season of Blood Questline Updates

We know that Erys the Vampire Hunter will be the main character in the Quest and Storyline. She has been fighting the Vampires all her life. At first they were targeting only small villages and feasted upon cattle and people nobody knew about. The Vampires have gotten bold, sloppy and greedy and they started expanding their hunting grounds, and this is the point at which we hear of them.

Magistrate Oren, is the leader of a Town that has received the brunt of these assailants and is asking for your help to investigate the recent murders. This new Questline will lead us to the underbelly of the Sanctuary which is Vampire-infested and that’s where we will meet Erys that you will have to recruit(or she will recruit us), so that we can uncover the Dark Master‘s plot and thwart his plans.

The adversaries that we will face are not typical Demonic creatures, but vicious Vampires that will force us to harness their Vampiric Powers with the new Pact Armor. Once we obtain the Pact Armor we will be able to unleash incredible powers and you’ll be able to put the Vampires down in a most ruthless display of force.

The new Questline will start in Ked Bardu(above),there you will meet Oren and he will set you on a path of the Blood Money Quest which starts the Questline.

Diablo 4 Endgame BossesNew Endgame Bosses coming with Diablo 4 Season of Blood

Blizzard has added 5 NEW ENGAME BOSSES in Season 2. These Bosses are added all over the Sanctuary in order to increase the overall Boss variety as well as to increase the quality of the End-game experience for all Players. You will have a chance at obtaining amazing specific Unique items as well as Uber Unique items from these Bosses.

The Reinforcements from the Burning Hells take hold of the Sanctuary and with the new Bosses, the destruction of the World is imminent. However, those that are brave enough and want to put a stop to them, will be rewarded with various Items and Cosmetic rewards.

The new Boss fight unlocks are done by accomplishing a variety of different tasks in the Sanctuary. The Boss difficulty raises as you progress through World Difficulties and each Boss requires you to have different resources in order to combat them. They have an increased reward pool and they will each drop Uniques that are obtainable only by defeating that specific Boss. This is good because it means that the Uniques can be target farmed and you will know which Boss to farm in order to get the Unique item you need for you build.

We will talk about all the Bosses that are being added and explain a how you can face them!

Diablo 4 Season of Blood Bosses and How to face them

Below here we will write a list of all the new Bosses that are coming to the Sanctuary as well as the ‘ingredients’ needed to summon and face them! Bear in mind that all of these Bosses will be quite difficult and most likely won’t be killable without the new Vampiric Powers.

Even though these Bosses may be difficult, we will provide help in the form of our Bosses service, if you think you need it!

Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint Mount drop Season of BloodGrigoire, The Galvanic Saint

This Boss becomes available on World Tier III and World Tier IV. In order to face this Boss you will have to gather enough Living Steel from the Tortured Offerings in the Helltide. In addition to Unique items that can only drop from Grigoire, he will also have a chance to drop the Demonbinder Mount Armor(cosmetic).

If you don’t have time and need someone to help farm your Helltide, feel free to check our Helltide service here.

Diablo 4 Season of Blood Echo of Varshan's Staff Echo of Varshan

We have fought Varshan in the Season of the Malignant, we know what he did and who he is. Now, he is coming back as an Echo and we know what that means. This Boss will become available on World Tier III and World Tier IV and will require you to defeat Grotesque Debtors during the Whispers of the Dead for a chance to receive parts of Varshan’s body.

The Tree of Whispers collections(the ones you do after getting 10 Grim Favors), GUARANTEE a part of Varshan’s body as well. This means that it will be easy to farm them up on a regular basis. Once you have enough parts as well as a Malignant Heart(if you’re playing on World Tier IV), you can summon this Boss.

In addition to the Unique items that only drop from Varshan, you will be able to obtain a collectors item called, “The Flesh-Weld Rod“, a trophy which has a chance to drop after defeating this Boss.

If you need help with obtaining these parts, we have our Tree of Whispers service!

Diablo 4 Boss The Beast in the IceThe Beast in the Ice

This Boss will become available only on World Tier IV. In order to fight this Boss, you will have to gather Distilled Fear, which is obtainable by completing Tier 30 or higher Nightmare Dungeons. After enough Distilled Fear is obtained, you will go to the Occultist in any major city and craft the Glacial Fissure Nightmare Sigil. Once you enter this Nightmare Dungeon, you will face off against The Beast in the Ice.

Aside from the Unique Items are specific to this particular Boss, you will be able to obtain The Skull Torch and the Fell Steed Mount Trophies.

We do have our Nightmare Dungeon service, if you need help or don’t have time doing that on your own, feel free to check it out!

The Dark Master Diablo 4 Season of BloodThe Dark Master

We are putting him second to last even though he is basically the ‘mastermind’ of the whole Season, and you will understand why. In order to summon this Boss, you will have to be on World Tier IV and complete a Legion Event or defeat a World Boss on World Tier IV. Once you do so, you will acquire Exquisite Blood. Naturally, once enough blood is collected, you will be able to summon The Dark Master!

Aside from the amazing Unique items that this Boss can drop, he also has a chance at dropping his Diadem of the Ancient, which is a Helm cosmetic item.

The Smoldering Brimstone Mount Diablo 4 Season of Blood Duriel cosmeticEcho of Duriel

This Boss is specific to World Tier IV only. Also, Duriel is the ONLY Boss of the bunch that can drop an UBER Unique item. In order to summon this Boss, you will have to Defeat both Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint and Echo of Varshan on World Tier IV and collect the Mucus-Slick Eggs and Shard of Agony which will enable you to summon Echo of Duriel.

Aside from dropping amazing Unique items as well as a chance to drop UBER unique items, Duriel can drop The Smoldering Brimstone Mount.

If you need help in defeating this specific Boss and a chance at the UBER Unique item as well as other amazing items and the mount, feel free to check our Uber Duriel Carry service!

Keep in mind that you will have to meet the summoning conditions each time you wish to fight a Boss, so make sure that any extra materials you gather in your adventures is safely kept for any future attempts at these Bosses!

Diablo 4 Season of Blood – Vampiric Powers Explained

Vampiric PowersIn order to defeat the Dark Master and disrupt his devious plans, you will have to take Vampiric Powers and make them your own! This kind of reminds us of Blade, but lets just say they meant it that way. Anyway, these Powers will be the salvation for the Sanctuary and it will depend on us as Players to determine whether or not we are good enough to wield them properly(or if we’re lucky enough to do so), in order to defeat all the new Bosses and the Dark Master!

To wield these Powers you will need a lot of Potent Blood, which is acquired from defeated Monsters and can be spent in the Vampiric Powers tab in the Character menu to Upgrade or Learn a Vampiric Power. These Powers can also be obtained by completing the Seasonal Questline and from the Blood Harvest Seasonal Event!

What happens after you learn a Vampiric Power?

After you learn a Vampiric Power, you will be able to use Potent Blood to level the Power Up. Each Power has a total of 3 Upgrades and you can have up to 5 Powers on a Character at once. When you mouseover a Vampiric Power, you will see that the it will display 1-3 as the number on symbols. These are called PACTS and the number is their associated cost. This is where we have to touch base on the New Pact Armor!

Pact Armor Season of BloodWhat is Pact Armor and why is it important?

In order to actually activate and use your Vampiric Powers you must obtain Pact Armor, as you can see on the picture(left-hand side), there are THREE different type of pacts.

  • FEROCITY PACT
  • DIVINITY PACT
  • ETERNITY PACT

Make sure that you keep an eye out for any Chest, Pants, Gloves, Boost and/or Helms containing Pacts that drop during Season of Blood. Once you have both Pact Armor and vampiric Powers equipped, you will need to make sure that the Pacts you have on your Armor match the activation cost of the Powers. This is the synergy between the two and it is imperative that you have enough points in the needed pact for the Vampiric Powers you wish to use.

EXAMPLE: On the picture here will show 1 of each pact on it. So if you have a Power that requires 1 Divinity to activate, then this item will make sure that the power is working. However, if you have a Vampiric Power that needs 2 Divinity Pacts to activate, you will have to get it on another item, or find an item that has 2 Divinity Pacts in order to activate the Power.

What happens if I am unlucky with my Pact Armor?

Well in this case, you better quit. Haha, just kidding. Thankfully, Blizzard has thought of this and to prevent ‘bad’ RNG in a sense, they’ve implemented two different types of items that can help you customize your Pact Armor. Those are:

  • Cleansing Acid – ALL: It removes all Pacts that are on any piece of armor.
  • Pact of Ferocity, Divinity or Eternity: Depending on the Name, it will add 1 Point of that Pact to the piece of Pact Armor of your choice.

Since you will surely need the Vampiric Powers, having the ability to add a Point or two, is not such a bad thing. It’s important to bear in mind that you can only Add Pact Points to the Pact Armor if you don’t already have a maximum amount of that Pact Type on that item.

In order to obtain these crafting items you will have to Farm Blood Seekers, and you can also get them in the Blood Harvest Event, Season journey, Opulent Coffins and naturally through the new Questline! Make sure that your Pact Points always match the requirements of your Vampiric Powers.

Now that we’ve covered these questions, lets see which Pacts are we going to be able to choose from in Diablo 4 Season of Blood!

All the Available Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4 Season of Blood

Vampiric PowersNow that we’ve understood how these powers work and how they correspond to the Pact Armor, it’s important to go through all the available Vampiric Powers. There is a total of 22 Vampiric Powers that will be available, 15  Minor and 7 Major Powers. Regardless of your Class, you will be able to use and implement all of them to your build. It’s up to you to choose whether or not you wish to diversify or upgrade a few specific ones that will be detrimental for your build and playstyle.

One thing to Look out for will definitely be the VAMPIRIC CURSE. If you kill an enemy affected by this curse, you store their Soul. Any Defensive, Macabre or Agility skill will unleash the stored Souls. You can have a maximum of 8 stored Souls.

We will cover all 15 Minor and 7 Major Vampiric Powers below. Bear in mind that these values reflect the Power at it’s maximum level(Level 3).

We can’t talk about Vampiric Powers and Season of Blood, without a Blood Harvest Event! Lets see what it’s about.

Season of Blood – The Blood Harvest Event

The Blood HarvestAs you’re all aware, there are many Events in the Sanctuary. The Blood Harvest Event is just one in the long line of those, but surely not the last.

The best place to find Potent Blood and Pact Armor is the Blood Harvest Seasonal Event. The Dark Master sent Blood Seekers, along with vampire armies, to take over the Dry Steppes, Hawezar, and Scosglen regions of Sanctuary, causing chaos and capturing its people.

To earn Reputation, defeat enemies in Bounties, pop Blood Blisters, finish World Events, disrupt vampire rituals, and free prisoners. With Reputation, you’ll advance through Tiers that offer valuable rewards like crafting materials, items, and Pact supplies.

During the Blood Harvest, you can get Blood Lures to summon Blood Seekers for you to defeat. Use Seeker Keys to free prisoners from the Dark Master’s army or open Seekers Caches for Pact Armor, Pact supplies, and Potent Blood.

You’ll also encounter new World Events and Dungeon Events where you can battle more Blood Seekers and vampire soldiers. Some of Sanctuary’s Dungeons are now the strongholds of the Dark Master’s army, so explore their depths to uncover hidden secrets.

Personally, we can’t wait for this to come out, it seems that it might be even more fun than the Hearts from the Malignant Season in terms of one shot builds and crazy stunts, but when we’re on the topic of Powers and Journeys, lets check and see what will happen with the Seasonal Journey and Battle Pass!

Diablo 4 Season of Blood – Season Journey and Battle Pass Recap

As we are already familiar with from Season of the Malignant, the Season Journey and Battle Pass, are mostly cosmetic oriented, but they can also influence the Leveling speed and various other aspects as was the case with the previous Urns for example. You can check our our Season of the Malignant Guide, if you need help in understanding how it all worked in Season 1.

Season JourneySeason Journey in Season of Blood

As you track down Lord Zir’s followers alongside Erys and uncover the mysteries of your newly acquired Vampiric Powers, you’ll receive rewards from both the Season Journey and Battle Pass.

The Season Journey is divided into Chapters, each containing specific tasks to complete. As you make your way through the Journey, you’ll earn rewards suitable for defenders of the Sanctuary.
These rewards include:

  • New Legendary Abilities

  • 3 Scrolls of Amnesia – These scrolls allow you to reset your Skill Tree and Paragon Board for free.

The Season Journey also grants Favor, which is the resource needed to progress through the Battle Pass Tiers. You can also earn Favor by simply playing different aspects of the game.

Battle Pass in Season of Blood

Battle PassThe Season of Blood Battle Pass kicks off on October 17 at 10 A.M. PDT.(7 P.M. CET for Europe) and features a total of 90 Tiers—27 Free Tiers and 63 Premium Tiers.

We are offering services for the Season Journey and Battle Pass, feel free to check here!

Now that we’ve covered all the Powers, Events, Journeys and Questlines, lets turn towards other various changes that are coming with the new Season!

Changes to various Activities coming with the Season of Blood

There are many activities all across the Sanctum, and it takes a lot of add-ons or tedious grinding and calculations to make sure that you’re on track with all of them. The changes that are coming with Diablo 4 Season of Blood Patch 1.2.0 are as follows:

  • Gold and Experience Changes
  • World Boss timer Updates
  • Quality of life changes for the Tree of Whispers rewards
  • Helltide Chest Updates

Gold and Experience Changes

When it comes to the amount of gold and experience we were able to obtain from mob kills, it was insignificant in comparison to selling items and trading them. Blizzard is implementing a change for the regular Players and those that want to do SSF(Solo-self-found). These are:

  • Increased Experience, Gold and overall Rewards from Helltide Chests
  • Increased Experience, Gold and overall Rewards from cashing in your Grim Favors
  • Increased Experience, Gold and overall Rewards from completing each individual Tree of Whispers

Other quality of life and gameplay improvements that were added are that:

  • Tree of Whispers rewards will no longer be able to give you Nightmare Dungeon Sigils that are too low. Instead – you will be given a Sigil that is ALWAYS within 5 Levels of the highest-level Nightmare Dungeon that you’ve completed on that Character.
  • Helltide Chests now have specific icons on the map so that you can see which item they hold without having to go to them directly and waste time.
  • Whisper Caches will give a proper item slot that corresponds to the item that is said once you pick a cache. Rather than getting a helmet when you asked for a One-handed Sword(for example).

If you need gold, we have it – check out our Gold page!

World Boss and Events Changes

There was a lot of discussion regarding the long wait times for the Bosses to respawn, Helltide or Legion Event waiting, with the new Season, there will be many changes coming to this as well. Such as:

Legion Event Updates

  • The time between Legion Events has been reduced from 30 to 25 minutes.
  • Legion Event Warning timers were increased from 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Fixed an issue where the Legion Event was not displayed properly if a Whisper Event was active was fixed.

World Boss Updates

  • The World Boss fights will be available more frequently on all World Tiers. The spawn times were reduced from 6 hours, down to 3 hours and 30 minutes in between each Boss.
  • World Boss warning timers were increased from 30 to 60 minutes.
  • Fixed an issue where the World Boss could not be seen on the mini-map due to a Whisper were changed(same as with the Legion Event).
  • Increased visibility of the World Boss spawn. From Patch 1.2.0 you will be getting individual warnings that a Boss is about to spawn, 15 minutes before he actually does.

Diablo 4 Season of Blood Experience and Monster Leveling Updates

There are a lot of changes coming to the actual Experience gain by killing Monsters and thus making the Leveling much faster and easier. Blizzard made it so:

  • The time spent to get to Level 100 is about 40% faster.
  • Experience gained from killing monsters at level 50 or higher will be increased significantly and will raise more and more as you level up.
  • The biggest issue in crossing over to other World Tiers is that if you do it at a low level, then the Monsters are much higher Level than you, and if you’re on a much higher Level, the Monsters are too low for you to gain any XP. This is a problem of the past! Once Season of Blood hits Live servers the Monsters level will be tuned to match the current level of your Character, with some limit of course.
    1) If you go into World Tier III, the lowest Monster Level will be 55 and will follow your Character Level.
    2) If you go into World Tier IV, the lowest Monster Level will be 75 and will follow your Character Level. This should increase the overall experience as well as the speed of the Leveling.
  • Incenses now grant a bonus to Experience and persist after death.
  • The Experience bonuses will be more important than ever! Elixirs, Season Blessings and Incenses will be multiplicative with the World Tier bonus.

These are pretty important and big updates that are being implemented, and it will help the majority of Players actually reach and enjoy the End-game.

If you need help with any Bosses, Leveling or Farming – feel free to check out our Diablo 4 services!

Next in line, we have the Nightmare Dungeons Update!

Nightmare Dungeon Updates coming with Diablo 4 Season of Blood

Nightmare Dungeons D4Nightmare Dungeons are the End-game Dungeons of Diablo IV. Depending on the Key-level and affixes(similar to WoW’s Mythic+), the Dungeon can vary in difficulty even at Lower levels. Affixes can change depending on the Sigil that you have and will greatly affect the difficulty as we said before. Sometimes Dungeons can be Level 50 and be harder than Level 55 for your spec or Class. With the coming of the Season of Blood there are many changes that are being implemented to make Dungeon Events more worthwhile.
The changes that are confirmed are:

  • The Nightmare Sigils will now teleport you DIRECTLY to the designated Nightmare Dungeon. This is done to speed up the process and not have to kill many mobs, or go on map and click to get to the Dungeon. A bit of quality of life update.
  • Nightmare Dungeons now grant you a Nightmare Sigil at the end of each Dungeon. Not only after you defeat the Last Boss in a Dungeon. This change was implemented due to the issue where Nightmare Sigils didn’t drop after completion a Dungeon with no End-Boss.
  • Some Dungeons have gotten their Objectives removed and only require you to kill the Boss in order to complete the Dungeon.
  • Massive reductions on backtracking by placing all objectives on the critical Dungeon pathing. This will make the objectives much harder to miss and will reduce the amount of time you will spend in a Dungeon searching for something that is hard to see.
  • A complete overhaul of many Dungeon layouts.
  • Improvement of Trap visibility inside Dungeons and a reduction to their Damage done.
  • An increase in experience gain to Paragon Glyph’s. Which will help you level the glyphs faster and reach that level 15 threshold and potentially get your build to start working with that Radius increase faster. You can also check out our Glyph services if you need help with that!
  • Added Endcaps to ensure that Dungeon layouts don’t feel too linear.

Nightmare Dungeon Affix Changes and Updates

As we said before, the Affixes are something that greatly affect the outcome of a Nightmare Dungeon, or a Sigil. Many times we just scrap or delete a Sigil that is a complete counter to our build. With the Season of Blood, there are changes and updates coming to this aspect as well.
These are:

  • BACKSTABBERS – Close monsters will attack you from behind and cause you to become Vulnerable. Your Vulnerable Damage taken is increased by X%.
  • MONSTER CRITICAL RESIST – Monster attacks will reduce the Damage you deal with Critical Strikes for 3 seconds by X%, stacking up to Y%.
  • DEATH PULSE – Will not trigger on Monsters that Explode on death, and it will not trigger multiple times on top of each other.
  • LIGHTNING STORM – One of the worst affixes got an overhaul. From now on it will:
    1) Only start when you are in Combat.
    2) Only start if the protective dome is in line of sight of the Player that it’s tied to. This way you won’t have it happening while you are 300 miles away.
    3) Another good change is that if you are inside the protective dome once the Lightning strikes, you will be granted 35% increased Movement Speed for 5 seconds.
  • DRIFTING SHADE – Duration was reduced from 5 seconds down to 3 seconds. The Respawn time is increased by 2 seconds.

If you need help with Nightmare Dungeons, any key level – feel free to check our Nightmare Dungeon services!

Adjustments coming to Items and Misc in Diablo 4 Season of Blood

Stash Diablo 4There has been a lot of talk in the community since Diablo 4 release regarding Items and Misc in-game. Some of the normal things that should’ve been in the game since the beginning were just not there. Waiting for ages to get the rolls that you need on an item, not being able to target farm etc. This has caused a lot of inconvenience in terms of bag-space management, inventory management as well as stash issue where the stash was filled with a lot of trash items that we somehow wanted to keep on us. With Season 2 of Diablo IV, we will see a lot of changes coming to both Items and Misc.

Item Transferring from Season of the Malignant

When we talk about items it’s important to mention a few things concerning the end of the Season of the Malignant. Realistically, we all have an inventory as the one you can see on the picture here(left-hand side). Blizzard thought about us aswell. Once Season of the Malignant Ends and Season of Blood begins you will be able to transfer your stashed gear to the Eternal Realm.

When your current Seasonal Characters transfer to the Eternal Realm all items in that Character’s inventory will go into a new Withdraw Only Stash tab. You will have time for the duration of Season of Blood to withdraw any items you want to keep from Season of the Malignant, if you leave any items in the Withdraw Only Stash tab after Season of Blood Ends – they will be deleted permanently. Make sure that you check all of your characters and if nothing just sell the items for the gold!

Item Adjustments

A lot of adjustments were needed to improve the quality of life in the game in terms of overall stashing and inventory. Lets see what’s going to change in Season of Blood.

  • A Hardcore improvement will be concerning the Scroll of Escape, from now on the Scrolls are also consumed if you get disconnected while in combat. This will help Players not die due to unfortunate disconnects due to bad connection etc.
  • A SIGNIFICANT quality of life improvement, with freed up inventory space by making Gems a crafting material. Gems will be materials and you can take them to the Jeweler for crafting.
  • Enchanting costs are greatly reduced, which will help you not get locked if your Legendary item didn’t get the stats you wanted. This also has a cap, but it will take many more attempts to get to it.
  • Higher Level Monsters in World Tier III and World Tier IV will drop Sacred and Ancestral Items of higher Item Power potential.
  • Normal Whisper Cache Rewards now provide +10 Item Power. Upgraded Caches will provide +20 Item Power Rewards.
  • Helltide Cache Rewards will provide +20 Item Power Rewards.
  • Another significant change is coming to inventories to reduce the amount of times you have to go to Towns unnecessarily:
    1) In World Tier III – Normal, Magic and Non-Sacred Rare items will drop as crafting resources.
    2) In World Tier IV – Normal, Magic, and Non-Ancestral Rare items will drop as crafting resources.
    3) Gold drop rates in World Tiers II and IV have been increased to compensate for the above changes.

Hopefully these changes will bring about a good quality of Life improvement, but it’s Blizzard so we’ll just have to see how things work out!

Misc Changes and Updates

More quality of life changes coming with the Misc. Changes and Updates!

  • The time spent having to regain Renown each Season has been reduced. All Renown Rewards will persist between Seasons and Characters(this does not include Experience & Gold).
  • Earned Skill Points, Potion Capacity, Max Obols and paragon Points earned from Renown will persist between each Character. However, the Renown Experience and Gold must be earned on each Character individually.
The above changes also apply for Hardcore Characters! However, they must be earned on a Hardcore Seasonal Character in order to transfer there.
  • You can now set Coveted items as Favorite, and you can’t sell or salvage them by accident if you are on your way to town ‘real quick’.
  • The ability to access Seasonal content earlier is possible and Players that haven’t done the campaign will now be able to get access to Seasonal content much faster, by adding the option to skip the Campaign when creating the Character, if any of your Characters has completed the Prologue.
  • Prevented wasted Minion and Companion attacks by ensuring they can’t target invulnerable enemies.
  • Last but not least, 2 ADDITIONAL Character slots were added!

Mount and Town Adjustments

There are quite a few improvements coming to Mounts and Mount Riding as well as to the quality of life inside of Towns. Lets go over what we can expect to change with the coming Season of Blood!

Mount QoL Adjustments

  • The Horse-Riding Experience is improved by the improving the overall responsiveness of the Mounts themselves. They will be less likely to get stuck on barriers, hit walls, slow down unexpectedly etc.
  • The time it takes to travel across the Sanctuary has been reduced drastically since Stashes were added in all of the smaller towns with a Waypoint.
  • The Base Riding Speed was increased by 15%. This does not affect the “Top Speed” ability.
  • You won’t have to put your cursor at the end of your screen to make the mount go faster anymore, the speed has been improved relative to cursor placement.
  • The ability cooldown improvements are definitely a refreshment, since mount abilities will get a 50% cooldown reduction:
    1) Manual dismount cooldown has been reduced down to 5 seconds(was 10 seconds).
    2) Forced dismount from Damage cooldown has been reduced down to 4 seconds(was 10 seconds).
    3) The delay between a dismount combat skill becoming available after mounting has been reduced down to 3 seconds(was 10 seconds).

Stash and Inventory adjustments Diablo 4 Season of BloodQoL Adjustments in Towns

Thankfully, there are a few changes and adjustments coming to all the Towns as well, which is a great quality of life improvement!

  • Additional Stashes were added to all Capital Cities near important Vendors. To help save up time if you have to run and get something from your stash, you don’t have to cross over the whole Town to get it.
  • Reduced the Need to travel to Capital Cities by adding Stashes to all Small Towns with Waypoints. Probably a great QoL improvement for Players that farm and just want to stash some good items, repair and get back on the grind.
  • The Occultist was added to the Tree of Whisperers Waypoint.
  • Purveyors of Curiosities were moved closer to the Waypoints in Capital Cities of:
    1) Kyovashad
    2) Zabinzet
    3) Ked Bardu
    4) Gea-Kul
  • The Navigation through the Sanctuary has been improved following Character creating by adding 10 Waypoints to the List of automatically unlocks Waypoints for those that skip the Campaign. Two Waypoints will be instantly unlocked in each Region.
Important Note: Even if you haven’t done the Campaign you will have these 10 Waypoints UNLOCKED!

We really think that these improvements will prove to be beneficial and helpful for anyone coming, going or staying in the world of the Sanctuary. Hopefully more QoL improvements will come in the future and we hope that the current ones won’t disappoint!

UI and UX Updates in Diablo 4 Season of Blood

The updates coming to the UI and UX for Season of Blood are as follows:

  • Improved Streaming functionality by adding Streamer Mode. This hides sensitive information such as Character Names or Battle.net Usernames.(For those that actually care about it)
  • Improved organization by displaying item affix tooltips in a consistent and intuitive way.
  • Another organization update is that Extracted Aspects with the same Legendary items will be grouped when sorting your Stash and Inventory.
  • The Ability to Auto-Run is FINALLY added. When moving in a direction, the Player will continuously move in the direction that the Character is faced or where the cursor is placed until another movement is activated or if you press a skill.
  • Adjusting the Zoom Level of the Mini-Map is also added.
  • Improved item sorting and overall organization by adding Stash SEARCH and Stash filter functionality!!!
  • The option to remove Combat Text was added(Vulnerable, Dodge, Fortified)
  • Unique items visibility will be enhanced.

This is a general top list of improvements and changes to the UI and the UX of the game, but they will do many more things and will listen to the community to find ways to improve the game.

CONCLUSION

We feel that Diablo 4 Patch 1.2.0 the Season of Blood will bring a lot of changes and quite frankly, it all looks really good so far. However, we would add a pinch of salt to anything that we hear and read from Blizzard and their games. This game had all the potential in the World to to be the game of year 2023, it might still be, but after not having any End-game content and having less than 0.1% of Players actually reaching that non-existent End-game content, the numbers say it all.

Hopefully this new Season brings new Blood as the title says and we hope that the changes, adaptations, adjustments and everything else that comes along with it prove to be the thing that this game needs to live up to it’s potential.
