Medved’s Saga is an Expedition Omen in Path of Exile 2’s Return of the Ancients expansion that guarantees a Medved, the Fallen Seer encounter in the next ocean biome revealed when you use a Logbook with the Saga active in your inventory. Medved, the Fallen Seer is the entry point of the four-boss Expedition chain. Long thought dead, this ancient Kalguuran warrior awakens when Gwennen disturbs his tomb, and defeating him is the mandatory first step before the chain can continue toward Vorana, Uhtred, and Olroth. Beyond his questline role, Medved drops advanced directional Logbooks that let players choose which direction to continue exploring the ocean, Medved’s Crest of the Circle for use in Verisium Runeforging, Verisium chunks, and Kalguuran unique items.
