This unlock requirement means accessing Sacred Reservoir is not simply a matter of finding the map — it requires clearing three specific boss encounters first, each requiring their own Waystone investment, before the Anomaly Map itself can be entered.
The Sacred Reservoir boss always drops one of three Lineage Support Gems: Varashta’s Blessing, Zarokh’s Refrain, or Garukhan’s Resolve. All three are endgame-exclusive Lineage gems unavailable through any other reliable drop source — making Sacred Reservoir one of the most targeted Atlas farming locations for players building around any of the three gems. Garukhan’s Resolve in particular guarantees a lucky roll on critical strikes, essentially duplicating a crit, and is highly valued for bridging the gap to consistent crit builds. Zarokh’s Refrain is also obtainable from Zarokh, the Temporal, but Sacred Reservoir is the primary dedicated source for all three simultaneously.
