Serpent Spine Longbow Carry explained
The core challenge isn’t the fight itself — it’s access and RNG. Lady Vashj is the final boss of a six-boss raid, and reaching her requires a full SSC clear or at minimum clearing the prerequisite bosses. Most pug groups fall apart before getting to Vashj, and the ones that make it often wipe on the core-passing mechanic in Phase 2. Even in successful kills, the bow competes with every other item on Vashj’s loot table. You might clear the boss and see nothing but caster gear for weeks. Phase 2 is the hardest section — Vashj activates a magic shield that can only be removed by looting tainted cores from Tainted Elementals and throwing them into four shield generators around the room, all while managing constant add waves from multiple directions.
