Understanding Lower City Reputation Progression
Lower City reputation is earned through Terokkar Forest quests, Auchindoun dungeon runs, and Arakkoa Feather turn-ins. Quests provide roughly 8,000 reputation total. Arakkoa Feathers can be turned in until Honored via the repeatable More Feathers quest — you need approximately 1,080 feathers to reach Honored from Neutral. After Honored, dungeons become the primary source: Auchenai Crypts and Sethekk Halls stop giving Normal mode reputation at Honored, but Shadow Labyrinth continues through Revered on Normal. All four dungeons grant reputation through Exalted on Heroic difficulty, with Shadow Labyrinth providing the highest reputation per run.
Why Buy the Lower City Reputation Boost
Reaching Exalted with Lower City requires extensive dungeon farming through Auchindoun. Normal modes stop giving reputation at different thresholds (Auchenai Crypts and Sethekk Halls at Honored, Shadow Labyrinth at Revered), forcing you to transition to Heroics for the final push — but you need Revered reputation to access Heroics in the first place. This creates a bottleneck where Shadow Labyrinth becomes the only viable Normal dungeon past Honored.
